Events Calendar
The club will meet once a
month this summer without a rain out. Our plan is to pick a day
without rain if we can and keep an eye out for the clouds and rain.
Terry Walters will be working on a schedule of the moon's phases. Rick
Ballou will keep an eye on the weather, you give us a 24 hour a day.

Once again, greetings, fellow earthlings...as (hopefully) all
of you know, the July meeting was cancelled due to a lack of
meteorological cooperation. This time, rain, shine or frost, we will
commence to gather at Hagar Hall (that's the rear building at the
Church) on
FRIDAY, AUGUST 27
7:30 PM, EDT
Although most of us got the "hoax" e-mail regarding the Mars
and Earth appearing as the same size, we thought we might just go
ahead and make it happen. Also, Rick has a power point presentation
that is going to conclude our lunar observation chapter. We will
have open discussion with regards to our next project while some of
us are going to finish the lunar mapping project. At any rate, be
there or be somewhere else...here's to clear
skies...Terry...................
